Hawaiian DelightThurs Oct 23 Rocky Point: The North Shore is awakening with waves, people and the competition circus is about to hit town. The second swell of the season rolled into the North Shore today. Its not a big one, just fun 4-5ft and big difference to the last few days of pancake flat conditions. There's a couple days of swell this size, leading into a bigger swell next week. Things are about to get real exciting....

Marlin Ahoy!Tuesday 21st Oct Hawaii: In my life I've been lucky enough to have skied Greenland, flown a helicopter and landed it on 10,000ft extreme peaks that we ski off in Alaska, barrel rolled a MiG Jet over Santa Barbara, been amongst the biggest waves in the world, dived with sharks, lived in the desert and in cars and condemned lodges in snow resorts and created the ultimate snow event with the World Heli Challenge..... And today I caught a 200lb Marlin! So stoked, what an amazing experience! &nbs

Aloha to a new winter!12th October: I could hear the waves breaking in the morning darkness. The first real swell of the season was lapping on the shores, if only a couple of feet at day break, but by mid afternoon it had certainly kicked in. Here we go again, another northern winter. Bring it on.....

Beyond the Bosanquet Bombie Part 5Day 5. After arriving into shore at 10pm the boys still weren't finished. There was still a heap of swell running and 6am the next morning they were onto it. Heres how they detoxed themselves from the rush of the huge swell the day before....... Look out for the complete story of the trip coming up in an issue of Australia's Surfing Life and the contender photos for the ASL / Oakely Big Wave Awards by visiting www.surfinglifemag.com.au/bigwaveawards

Finding the Bosanquet Bombie Part 4Day 4. We always knew that today was the make or break day of the trip. We ventured out early from the shelter of the island and made our way another 10 miles out into middle of nowhere in an ocean still boiling from the recent days winds. Jeff had an idea that a wave existed out here from witnessing the possibility in his shark fishing days, but on arrival to the area to be honest it seemed that we had been skunked. The ocean was a mess as huge lumps in the swell had peaks roaring to life all
